OOP 2012

OOP 2012

OOP – for more than 20 years these three letters mean not only current and practice-oriented information, but also untimely discussions about new trends concerning the topic modern software engineering. The OOP 2012 takes place in the International Congress Center (ICM) of the New Munich Trade Fair Center from Jan 23 to 27, 2012. For 2012 the central topic is how, with the help of lasting strategies and systems the future challenges will be handled by the next generation and what it means for the software industry. Which designs and languages make a lasting product quality possible? Which tools, architectures and technologies support the production of lasting systems? And how can management technologies, social competence and agile processes serve to support the employees in a long term? These are questions which participants of the OOP 2012 will try to answer.

Other important topics of the OOP 2012 are hardcore software architecture and sustaining trends and techniques. The most important experts of the industry will lead discussions about the different subjects. Among others, it will be talked about the computer virus Stuxnet, but also, how software can support persons with movement disabilities.

Beside the question for technical solutions also the interactive networking of the participants is important to the organizers of the conference who are renowned for their high professionalism. Side-events like table football and the quite traditional IT- table reserved for regulars should contribute to it, because at informal meetings contacts can be often easier created than during official occasions.
Beside business talks and the exchange of experience the OOP 2012 is complemented by the greatest exhibition of all leading software suppliers in Germany. Its international participants and exhibitors come from the USA, Canada and Israel and some European countries.
